Proxy Proposals for Measuring Data Centre Productivity

Hi,

I was hoping to get some update as to what feedback came in via the survey for this paper, also any plans for additional work based on the feedback.

Is there any update available ?

Regards,

    Keith

Hi Keith,

Sorry to take so long. We are preparing a paper, targeted for release Oct 2, that will summarize the results of the survey and 2 focus groups that we held to get feedback on the proxy proposals, as well as next steps for the work.

Preview of the results: there were no runaway winners in the survey or the focus groups, more work to do around defining cost, correlation to real work, and decisions that can be made using the data.

mark.
